1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. We may also use local storage, pixels, tags and similar technologies that store or access information on a device.
A session cookie normally expires when the browser is closed. A persistent cookie remains until its stated expiry date or until it is deleted.
2. How we use these technologies
Strictly necessary
These technologies are required to provide a service requested by you or for the secure operation of the store. They support functions such as basket contents, checkout, fraud prevention, security, country selection, login and recording cookie preferences.
They cannot be switched off through our consent tool because the website or requested function may not work without them.
Analytics
Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use the store, such as which pages are visited and whether technical problems occur.
We treat analytics technologies as optional and do not activate them until you consent.
Marketing
Marketing technologies may measure advertising, build audiences, recognise a device across visits or help show more relevant advertising.
We do not activate them until you consent.
Optional functionality or personalisation
These technologies may remember optional choices, provide embedded media, reviews, chat or other enhanced features. Where they are not strictly necessary, they are not activated until you consent.
3. Your choices
When you first visit the store, our cookie banner allows you to:

Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from shopping with us, although an optional feature may not work.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

Analytics |
Google Search Console and Google Merchant Center should not be listed merely because accounts exist. They belong here only if they cause technology to run on the visitor’s device or otherwise receive identifiable customer information from the store.
Ordinary links to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or TikTok do not by themselves cause those platforms to set store cookies. Embedded feeds, pixels or plugins must be listed.
We use Google Analytics 4 only after you consent to analytics cookies. Google Analytics may receive pseudonymous client and session identifiers, page and product interactions, referral and campaign information, device and browser information, approximate location and ecommerce events such as viewing a product, adding an item to the basket, beginning checkout and completing a purchase.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, postal addresses or complete payment details to Google Analytics. Further information is available at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Legal basis
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, strictly necessary storage or access technologies may be used without consent where the relevant exemption applies.
Where personal information is processed through strictly necessary technologies, our UK GDPR lawful basis is normally performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract, and/or our legitimate interests in providing and protecting the store.
Our lawful basis for optional analytics, marketing and personalisation technologies is consent.
We do not currently rely on the statistical-purposes exception for Google Analytics 4. We activate Google Analytics only after the user has consented to analytics technologies.
7. International processing
Shopify and any optional third-party provider may process cookie or device information outside the UK. Details of international transfers and safeguards are set out in our Privacy Policy.
Where an optional provider acts as a separate controller, its own privacy notice also applies.
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google group companies and subprocessors may process Analytics information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Further information about the relevant safeguards is provided in our Privacy Policy.
8. Updates
We review this Cookie Policy and cookie schedule when we change providers or website functions and after material Shopify or app updates.
The “Last updated” date shows when this Policy was most recently revised.
